Salon & Spa Refund Policy
At Creative Edge, we are committed to providing exceptional service and quality products. Please review our refund policy carefully, as it applies to all services, products, gift cards, and memberships.
1. Service Booking Deposits
A deposit is required to secure all service appointments.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits may be transferred to a future appointment if the appointment is rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Failure to provide adequate notice or a no-show will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
2. Refunds for Services Rendered
All services are final and non-refundable once performed.
If you are dissatisfied with a service, please notify us within 48 hours of your appointment.
We will gladly offer a complimentary adjustment or correction at the discretion of management.
No refunds will be issued for services already rendered.
3. Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Gift cards do not expire (or specify expiration if applicable and legal in your jurisdiction).
Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced without proof of purchase.
4. Memberships
Membership fees are non-refundable.
Membership benefits are non-transferable.
Unused services or credits do not roll over unless otherwise stated in the membership agreement.
Memberships may be canceled within 3 days for a full refund according to the terms outlined at sign-up.
5. Product Returns
Retail products may be returned within 14 days of purchase.
Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
Opened or used products are not eligible for refunds, but may be exchanged if defective.
Sale or promotional items are final sale.
6. Packages & Promotions
Service packages and promotional offers are non-refundable.
Packages may be transferred to another service of equal or lesser value at management’s discretion.
No refunds will be issued for partially used packages.
7. Policy Acknowledgment
By booking an appointment, purchasing a product, gift card, or membership, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
Photography
Photographic Prints & Portrait Session Refund Policy
At Creative Edge, all portrait sessions and photographic products are custom-created. Please review this policy carefully before purchasing, as it applies to all sessions, prints, digital images, and related products.
1. Portrait Session Fees
Portrait session fees are non-refundable.
Session fees cover the photographer’s time, talent, preparation, and post-production work.
Session fees do not include prints or digital products unless explicitly stated.
Rescheduling may be permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice; failure to provide adequate notice may result in forfeiture of the session fee.
2. Photographic Prints (Custom Products)
All photographic prints are custom-made and final sale.
Under Ohio consumer law, custom or personalized goods are generally not eligible for refunds unless defective or misprinted.
No refunds will be issued due to personal preference, dissatisfaction with expressions, poses, styling, or artistic interpretation once the order is approved.
3. Print Quality Issues & Errors
If a print arrives with a lab defect or printing error (e.g., color issues, damage, cropping errors not present in the proof), you must notify us within 7 days of receipt.
Upon verification, the print will be replaced or reprinted at no additional cost.
We do not offer refunds for minor color variations due to screen calibration differences between monitors and print materials.
4. Proofing & Client Approval
Clients are responsible for reviewing proofs carefully before placing print orders.
Once an order is submitted, it is considered approved and sent to production.
Changes or cancellations cannot be made after the order has been placed.
5. Digital Images
Digital image purchases are non-refundable once delivered.
Due to the nature of digital files, no exchanges or credits can be issued after delivery.
6. Packages, Collections & Promotions
Print packages, collections, and promotional offers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If a package includes multiple prints, unused items do not qualify for partial refunds.
Promotional pricing cannot be retroactively applied to prior purchases.
7. Order Cancellations
Print orders may be canceled only if production has not begun.
Once production begins, all sales are final.
8. Legal Disclosure (Ohio)
Ohio law allows businesses to establish their own refund policies, provided they are clearly disclosed prior to purchase.
This policy is made available at booking, proofing, and checkout to ensure full transparency.
Classes
Class Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Creative Edge – Trenton, Ohio
To ensure fairness to all participants and instructors, the following policy applies to all classes, workshops, and educational events hosted by Creative Edge.
1. Class Registration
Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot.
Class sizes are limited; registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
All class registrations are non-refundable.
2. Client Cancellations
Clients who cancel at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class may receive a studio credit for the amount paid.
Studio credits may be applied toward a future class, salon service, spa service, or photography session.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class start time are not eligible for credit or refund.
3. No-Shows
Clients who do not attend a registered class and fail to provide notice are considered no-shows.
No-shows forfeit all payments and are not eligible for refunds or credits.
Repeated no-shows may result in restricted future class registrations at management’s discretion.
4. Late Arrivals
Late arrival may result in denied entry to avoid disrupting the class.
Late arrivals are treated as a no-show and are not eligible for refund or credit.
5. Class Transfers
Registrations are non-transferable unless approved by management in advance.
Sharing or reselling class spots is not permitted.
6. Class Cancellations by the Studio
If Creative Edge cancels a class, registered participants will receive the option of:
A full refund, or
A studio credit to be used toward a future offering.
7. Policy Disclosure
This policy is clearly disclosed at the time of registration and checkout.
By registering for a class, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation and no-show policy.
Class Cancellation Fee Policy
All classes require full payment at registration.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the class cost.
No-shows will be charged the full class fee.
Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance may receive a studio credit, minus any applicable processing fees.
Late arrivals may be denied entry and will be treated as a no-show.
If the studio cancels a class, clients will receive a full refund or studio credit.
By registering for a class, you agree to this cancellation fee policy.
